It's like... diving into a pool of water without knowing if it's shallow or deep.
And sure, if it's shallow, you end up hurt and paralyzed from the neck down.
But, if it's deep... you know...

It's a leap of faith. It's like throwing yourself out there without any guarantees, and that's what life is all about.

Okay, you know those carnival games, right?
And you know how some of them are really hard to win and some of them are super easy and everyone wins?
Well, it's just that that's the difference between love and sex.

Sex is the game where everyone wins a little prize, and no one goes home a loser.

And love is the game that's really hard to win. But if you do, and you get to take home that life-sized stuffed rhinoceros. It feels a whole lot better than taking home that shitty little plastic key chain.

DREAM, Is it a sign or just a dream?

Dream. Mimpi. merupakan suatu pengalaman bawah sadar yang mengikut sertakan panca indera kita di dalamnya saat kita tidur.

Mimpi kali? ahuahaha.. Mimpi itu apa sih sebenernya? Is this just a preview of something that I or people wants? Mimpi = Khayalan? But, why sometimes it become nightmares. Why can't we control it?

Selidik punya selidik, Mr. google memberi jawaban yang cukup memuaskan. Mimpi itu memiliki berbagai macam tipe:

1. Daydreams: is a visionary fantasy experienced while awake, especially one of happy, pleasant thoughts, hopes or ambitions.
2. Lucid Dreams: is a dream in which the sleeper is aware that he or she is dreaming.
3. Nightmares: is an unpleasant dream (udah jelas).
   
4. Prophetic Dreams: is a dream in which the dreamer see things that predict the future.
5. Recurring Dreams: is a dream that keep coming back in your sleep.
   
6. Healing Dreams: is a dream that serve as messages for the dreamer in regards to their health.
7. Signal Dreams: is a dream that help you how to solve problems or make decisions in your waking life.
8. Epic Dreams: is a dream that so huge, so compelling, and so vivid that you cannot ignore them. The details of such dreams remain with you for years, as if you just dreamed it last night. It feels like a life-changing experience.

Salah satu hal yang buat saya tertarik adalah prophetic dream. Mimpi dapat menjadi suatu tanda akan kejadian di masa yang akan datang. But, the real question here is, how do we know if the dream is sign of something?

Jangan Jajan Gorengan Sembarangan!

Kalo ga makan gorengan rasanya ada yang kurang. Gorengan itu enak banget, nikmat, dan kriuk2 maknyuss! ahahahaha.. ini kalimaat-kalimat yang biasa ada dipikiran saya setiap kali bertemu abang2 ato mang2 penjajah gorengan depan itb ato deket2 tempat kosan.

Tiga hari yang lalu tenggorokan saya mulai gatal2 pertanda mau terserang radang tenggorokan. Kalo udah kena randang tenggorokan, statistically speaking, pertanda saya akan terkena penyakit flu a.k.a batuk, pilek, demam. Akhirnya saya mikir2 lagi, kira-kira apa yang menyebabkan tenggorokan saya tiba2 sakit seperti ini. Padahal semester ini saya belum pernah begadang atau main-main sampai kehabisan energi. Akhirnya muncul pikiran dibenak saya akan makanan gorengan.. Wah wah.. ini pasti gara2 gorengan. Selama dua hari berturut2 saya selalu jajan gorengan setelah selesai makan malam (jadi dessert gitu deh.. hehe)

Kemudian saya coba cari-cari info lewat internet, dan ternyata benar! Gorengan ini jadi sumber banyak penyakit. Mengonsumsi gorengan yang lazim dijual di pinggir jalan dan di banyak tempat di pinggir jalan memang sangat berisiko. Makanan gorengan umumnya dimasak dengan minyak goreng hasil pengulangan dalam suhu tinggi dan jangka waktu lama (deep frying). Minyak goreng bekas juga sering menjadi penyebab alergi dan mengakibatkan radang tenggorokan.

Selain radang tenggorokan, ternyata banyak juga bahaya penyakit lain yang dapat ditimbulkan oleh gorengan. Karena, gorengan ini memberikan kontribusi tertinggi terhadap asupan asam lemak trans. Asam lemak jenis ini menjadi salah satu penyebab meningkatnya penyakit akibat penyumbatan pembuluh darah, salah satunya adalah penyakit jantung koroner. wuidiih.. serem juga kalo kena penyakit jantung! mungkin efeknya tidak secara langsung, namun jika kita terbiasa makan gorengan dan merasa aman dalam memakan gorengan untuk jangka waktu yang lama dampaknya dapat terasa saat usia kita bertambah.

Hal yang dapat kita lakukan untuk mencegah ini semua salah satunya adalah dengan olah raga teratur, dan menjaga pola makan sehat kita! sesekali berpuasa juga baik untuk menjaga sirkulasi lemak yang tersimpan dalam tubuh kita. Dan untuk menncegah terhadap radang tenggorokan, sebaiknya kita menjaga kebersihan makanan yang akan masuk ke dalam tubuh kita. Karena kuman juga dapat menjadi penyebab utama radang tenggorokan. Kuman pada gigi (karena gigi berlubang, sering2 sikat gigi dan cek kesehatan gigi anda) dan kuman pada makanan.
